Sarah D. Blackstone

Hello there! My name is Sarah D. Blackstone, but my momma always called me "Sarah D." I have dreamed of being a published author since I was six, and now, fueled by my love for storytelling and world-building, I am making that happen.

I am a student of linguistics. The science of language is a passion of mine, and I will forever consider myself its student. I am TEFL certified.

I am a Graphic Designer with over 20 years experience. I love developing a logo that reflects a client's personality and brings their message to life. The most rewarding part is watching a client's face light up when a design POPS off the screen and makes a connection, often eliciting a "Wow." I'm passionate about graphic design, and it's in my DNA. As a kid, I would decorate my math homework with doodles, sketches, and ideas. No paper was safe from my pencil in my home.

When I'm not busy concocting stories or adventuring with my eight kids (some of them now taller than I am), you can find me indulging in my guilty pleasures: binge-watching cheesy rom-coms with my husband or buying yet another plant (whispering, "Please don't die THIS time …"). Or buying chicks. I'm a sucker for those fuzzy little puff balls.
